I. Một vài chủ đề khó trong đề thi IELTS Speaking quý 2 này

Speaking Part 1:

1. Puzzle

  • Did you do puzzles in your childhood?
Yes, I frequently did jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles; they were my go-to activities on rainy afternoons. I found them both engaging and a great way to challenge my cognitive skills.
  • Do you like doing word puzzles or number puzzles? Which is more difficult for you?
I’m particularly drawn to word puzzles like crosswords because they expand my vocabulary and keep me mentally sharp. Number puzzles like Sudoku can be tricky—I often find myself stumped by the complexity of certain grids.
  • When do you do puzzles, during your trip or when you feel bored?
I usually tackle puzzles when I feel a bit listless or need a break from screen time. Occasionally, I’ll do a quick puzzle on a train journey to pass the time in a more productive way.
  • Do you think it is good for old people to do puzzles?
Definitely. Engaging in puzzles can help elderly individuals maintain mental agility and potentially delay cognitive decline. Plus, completing a challenging puzzle can be a great source of accomplishment and boost self-esteem.

 2. Outer Space and Stars

  • Do you learn about outer space and stars at school?
We covered basic astronomy in middle school, focusing on the solar system and fundamental cosmological concepts. Although it wasn’t a major subject, I found those lessons quite fascinating.
  • Do you enjoy watching films about the outer space and stars?
Yes, I love movies like “Interstellar” or “Gravity” because they’re both visually stunning and scientifically intriguing. They spark my curiosity about the mysteries of the universe.
  • Do you want to study about outer space and stars?
I would love to take a more in-depth course in astronomy someday. Learning about exoplanets and cosmic phenomena is extremely captivating, even if I don’t pursue it as a career.
  • Do you want to travel to the outer space in the future?
It would be the ultimate adventure, but I’m also aware of the risks and costs involved. If it becomes accessible and safe, I’d definitely consider experiencing zero gravity firsthand

3. Having Parties

  • Do you like having parties? [Why/Why not?]
I enjoy having parties because they’re a fantastic way to socialize, catch up with friends, and celebrate milestones. The lively atmosphere always energizes me.
  • Is there anything you dislike about parties? [Why/Why not?]
Sometimes I find large gatherings overwhelming and a bit chaotic, especially if the crowd is too big. Also, planning and hosting can be stressful when there’s a lot to coordinate.
  • What do you usually do when you go to the party? [Why?]
When I attend a party, I usually mingle with guests, chat about interesting topics, and maybe dance if there’s music. I also help the host by carrying snacks or refilling drinks, which makes me feel involved.
  • How often did you have a party when you were a child? [Why/Why not?]
I had a party roughly once a year on my birthday, which was always exciting. My parents made sure to invite my classmates, and we’d play games and enjoy a delicious cake.
