Đề bài: The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

1. Ý tưởng cho overview:

Vì đây là một bài dạng biểu đồ Map theo thời gian, chúng ta sẽ nêu trend thay đổi tổng quan, đi kèm với 1 vài thay đổi cụ thể. Cụ thể:

Bản đồ xây dựng thêm các khu vui chơi phục vụ du lịch thay vì tập trung hoàn toàn vào nông nghiệp như trước.
Các thay đổi cụ thể bao gồm sự xây dựng của cottages, camping field và solar panels

2. Phân chia thân bài:

Ở bài này, chúng ta sẽ chia bản đồ làm đôi, lấy track/road làm ranh giới để tả. Tức là:

Thân bài 1: Tả phía nam của track
Thân bài 2: Tả phía bắc của track

3.Cách lần lượt tả từng câu:

Bởi chúng ta đã chia bản đồ làm hai, chúng ta sẽ lần lượt tả các thay đổi trong mỗi nửa từ trái sang phải. Vì vậy:

Thân bài 1:

Câu 1+2: Tả các khu trồng cây giữ nguyên như ban đầu, xây thêm farmshop gần đường
Câu 3: Tả Farmhouse + chicken phía đông giữ nguyên, nhưng có một barn mới ở cuối đường
Câu 4: Tả thêm holiday cottages xây đè lên chỗ Barn ban đầu.

Thân bài 2:

Câu 1: Tả camping field mới thay thế sheep area, + thêm parking space gần đường lớn

4. Bài mẫu

The two maps illustrate the changes made to the layout of Beechwood Farm between 1950 and the present day.

Overall, the farm has undergone a major transformation from a purely agricultural site to a more commercially–oriented area. Notable changes include the introduction of new camping field, holiday cottages, and renewable energy infrastructure. Different parts of the farm are connected via a track that used to run horizontally across the site, which has now been resurfaced into a road.

To the south of the track, the zones for different vegetation, including fruit trees, soft fruits, and vegetable, is kept the same, clearly separated and near the river. A new farm house was also constructed ajacent to the road, overlooking the area for the fruit trees. The chicken area and the farmhouse in the far east has remained in place, with a new barn being built next to them, at the end of an intersection. The large barn area near the track, however, was demolished and replaced by a range of holiday cottages to accommodate travellers.

To the north of the track, the area initially used for sheep grazing has now been replaced by a camping field, with a designated parking zone that can be accessed directly via the main road. An area for solar panels and another parking space was also introduced further to the east, which, combined with the changes mentioned above, indicates a shift toward a more sustainable and tourist-oriented space.
